Taiwan FTC to hold public hearing on ASE-SPIL merger

Taiwan's Fair Trade Commission (FTC) has said it will arrange a public hearing on Advanced Semiconductor Engineering's (ASE) planned merger with Siliconware Precision Industries (SPIL) before making a decision on the matter by December 17.
