LED lighting luminous efficiency to rise to 200lm/W in 5 years, says Philips Lumileds SSL Fellow

The luminous efficiency for LED lighting has now risen to 100-150lm/W and is expected to keep rising to 200lm/W in five years and to 220lm/W in 2020, according to Solid State Lighting (SSL) Fellow George Craford at Philips Lumileds Lighting.
