Taiwan market: FET sees 54% of mobile communication subscribers use smartphones

Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) had 5.504 million subscribers to its mobile communication services at the end of second-quarter 2013, with 54% of them using smartphones, the telecom carrier said at a July 31 investors conference.
