Coretronic expects 50% sequential growth in 2Q13 TV BLU shipments

Taiwan-based Coretronic expects its LCD TV backlight unit (BLU) shipments during the second quarter of 2013 to hike on quarter by 50% mainly due to increasing orders from Japan- and South Korea-based vendors, according to the company.
