Gemtek takes up 49% stake in BandRich

Gemtek Technology, a Taiwan-based maker of networking/communication equipment, has acquired a 49% stake in fellow maker BandRich, replacing High Tech Computer (HTC) to become the largest shareholder, according to industry sources.
