LED-backlit monitor shipments to grow fast, says Innolux chairman

Demand for LED-backlit monitors will start picking up in the third quarter as the price gap between LED backlight units (BLU) and CCFL BLUs narrows, according to Hsing C Tuan, chairman of Taiwan-based LCD panel maker Innolux Display.
