Taiwan market: Epson launches A3 laser printer, aims at 25% market share

Seiko Epson on April 15 unveiled a new A3 monochrome laser printer, the AcuLaser M8000N, for immediate launch in the Taiwan market at a recommended retail price of NT$69,900 (US$2,087) and aims to reach a 25% market share for laser printers in 2009, according to Epson Taiwan Technology & Trading.

AcuLaser M8000N has a printing speed of 44 pages per minute, a maximum monthly printing volume of 200,000 pages and a low average printing cost of NT$0.38 per page, Epson Taiwan pointed out.
