Transcend introduces new DDR2-800 DIMM for workstations and servers
Press release, September 13; Esther Lam, DIGITIMES [Friday 14 September 2007]

Transcend Information recently introduced its new 2GB DDR2-800 error correcting code (ECC) unbuffered DIMM (UB-DIMM) for high-end computer applications, which include workstations and servers.

The error checking and correcting capability of the JEDEC-compliant DIMM helps reduce the risk of operation errors and increase system reliability. Chips used on the DIMM are from Micron Technology. The DIMM is available in 2GB density in a 128Mx8 configuration and has a suggested retail price of NT$14,000 (US$422).
