Taiwan second-tier panel makers to raise over NT$40 billion in 2006

Taiwan-based second-tier TFT-LCD makers Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT), HannStar Display and Quanta Display (QDI) plan to raise NT$40 billion (about US$1.3 billion) to fund operations and capacity expansion, according to the companies.
