More Taiwan makers to join TDIA in order to develop TD-SCDMA related products

More Taiwan companies, including Compal Communications, Sunplus Technology, and BenQ, are expected to join the China-based TD-SCDMA Industry Alliance (TDIA) for tapping China’s 3G handset market, according to market sources.
