IDC: External disk storage systems market achieves record growth in 3Q

Factory revenue in the external disk storage systems market worldwide enjoyed an on-year record growth of 12.5% to US$3.9 billion in the third quarter of 2005, beating the previous record in 2001, according to International Data Corporation (IDC).
