Phison said to be slashing SD/MMC card controller IC prices

The recent price reduction of SD/MMC card controller ICs from Taiwan-based IC design house Phison Electronics is placing pricing and margin pressure on rivals, as Phison is offering quotes almost 40% lower than its competitors, according to sources.
