TSMC and UMC both report on-year revenue drop for 1Q

Although Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) finished out the quarter with sequential revenue growth in March, both firms ended up with first quarter results down from last year.
