UMC sales at two-year low in February, TSMC also down

February sales for United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) dropped 14% sequentially to NT$6.1 billion, the lowest sales total the company has had since early 2003, while sales from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) dropped 17%.
