Sunplus to enter high-end DVD player SoC market in 3Q, likely to push market price below US$10

Sunplus Technology will enter the high-end DVD player single-chip solution market in the third quarter when the company begins volume production of its new DVD chip, the SP8210, company spokesman Wayne Shen said at an investors conference yesterday.
