Optimistic outlook has Powerchip turning 2003 red ink black

Powerchip Semiconductor Corporation (PSC) conservatively projects breaking even for 2003 despite a NT$900 million pre-tax loss in the second quarter, said company general manager Brian Shieh at a press conference yesterday.
