Alienware launches first ATI CrossFireX notebook

Gaming notebook manufacturer Alienware is putting two ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3800-series graphics processors in the Alienware M17 notebook PC. The Alienware M17 is the world's first notebook from a major manufacturer to include AMD's ATI CrossFireX multi-GPU technology with Microsoft Direct X 10.1 support, according to the company.

The M17 notebook also features a 17-inch widescreen panel and Intel's quad-core Core 2 Quad or dual-core Core 2 Duo CPU.
