Thermaltake announces latest TR2 QFan PSU
Press release, February 21; Joseph Tsai, DIGITIMES [Thursday 21 February 2008]

Thermaltake Technology announced its latest line of power supply units (PSUs), the TR2 QFan series, available in 300W, 350W, 400W, 450W and 500W versions. The fan series is specially designed for 80Plus compliance, while only generating little noise and heat.

The TR2 QFan series is equipped with a patented 140mm silent QFan to reduce overall noise. The innovative QFan has a unique blade shape design and a 360X open frame to effectively reduce noise, with the five-way air intake of the Qfan designed to increase air flow and lower noise.

The TR2 QFan series has two independent and dedicated +12V rails (12V1 and 12V2) to provide stable output for PC systems. The series also complies with Intel ATX 12V 2.3, while supporting the latest graphic cards from Nvidia and ATI and Dual/Quad Core CPUs from Intel and AMD. The TR2 QFan series is scheduled to be available at the end of the first quarter.
