Taiwan market: FET, Tatung InfoComm offer free WiMAX roaming services

Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) and Tatung InfoComm, two WiMAX operators in Taiwan, on September 15 jointly announced the launch of free WiMAX roaming services on a trial basis in Taichung City, central Taiwan, Kaohsiung City, southern Taiwan, and Penghu island, from September 16 to December 31, 2010. Tatung InfoComm and two other WiMAX operators, Global Mobile and Vee TIME, also launched trial free WiMAX roaming services in August.
