Taiwan market: WiMAX operator Tatung InfoComm to expand coverage

Taiwan-based WiMAX operator Tatung InfoComm will expand its WiMAX coverage to also include Hualien and Pingtung counties soon, in addition to the current coverage in Kaohsiung and Penghu counties, according to the company. Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) has kicked off its WiMAX service in Taichung City, while Vee Telecom Multimedia will implement its coverage in Taichung County and Kinmen initially.
