Pixelworks to launch single-chip LCD TV controller IC in 4Q

Pixelworks has begun shipping scaler and de-interlacer chips to Taiwanese LCD TV producers this quarter and plans to launch an LCD TV video decoder in September, according to Peter Brown, general manager of the company’s Taiwan office.
