Samsung SDI begins 42-inch high-definition PDP volume production

Samsung SDI on July 8 announced that it has begun volume production of a 42-inch high-definition (HD) PDP (plasma display panel), initially at 1,000 units per month, and aims to ship 30,000 units this year, according to Asia Pulse.
