Dongbu starts first-stage equipment purchase

South Korea-based foundry Dongbu Electronics announced that it has reached a financing agreement of 260 billion won (around US$216 million) with 11 financial institutions for a first-stage equipment purchase, the Korea Economic Daily reported.
